USO WARRIOR AND FAMILY CARE
Comprehensive long-term programs provide wounded, ill or injured heroes with the essential tools to sustain their journey towards a full and rewarding life. The program includes physical and behavioral health support, family strengthening, education, employment and community reintegration.
FAMILIES OF THE FALLEN SUPPORT
The USO offers the families of heroes killed in action the critical support they need. This program arranges for final transportation and provides a full service respite center. In addition, the USO introduces families to special programs that help them cope with their grief.
UNITED THROUGH READING'S MILITARY PROGRAM
The hardest hit members of a military family are often the youngest. This program allows troops the ability to read a bedtime story while being recorded on DVD for their child. It gives them the chance to connect, even when they can't be there in-person.
USO OPERATION PHONE HOME™
This program allows deployed troops to stay connected with their families by calling home free of charge. The USO provides phone cards and a private telephone network (PTN) available at USO centers.
